Registration & Abstracts

To access the registration page, click here. Your early registration is essential for optimising the conference and we encourage you to propose session topics during the process. If you do not want to pay immediately (see "Registration fee" below), you can choose to pay by bank transfer and you will receive an invoice by email. The payment will be pending and you can ask at any time to switch back to credit card. Please register for the conference also in case you wish to attend without an oral or e-poster contribution.

To submit an abstract, click here. The abstract submission deadline has been extended to 31 May. The submitted contributions will be reviewed after the new deadline, and you will be notified of the decision regarding your contribution by 15 June. For submitted electronic posters, the link for uploading your file will be provided in the acceptance email. Posters will be made available on the conference website, starting on 20 August.

Registration fee

The registration fee for on-site participation includes coffee breaks, the welcome reception and excursions, and amounts to 110 EUR till June 15, 2024, and increases to 150 EUR after that date. It is the policy of the organizers to keep the registration fee as low as possible, in order to encourage participation of the younger generation. The registration fee for on-line participation amounts to 50 EUR.

Cancellation policy

For cancellations received by 16.6.2024 (23:59 CET) will receive 100% of the paid conference fee refunded. Cancellations received from 17.6.2024 until 11.8.2024 (23:59 CET) will receive 50% of the paid conference fee refunded. Cancellations received after 11.8.2024 (23:59 CET) or no-shows will receive no refund of the paid conference fee. Cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Event Management of the University of Vienna (email: congress@univie.ac.at).
